My name is Jamie and I’m a UX/UI Designer and Copywriter based in Edinburgh. I completed Google's UX Design Professional Certificate program in early 2022 and have since worked on projects across diverse sectors and products, including Healthcare, Finance, Streaming, SaaS and more.

I grew up loving all things creative, from painting and drawing whenever I could to playing the drums in a rock band and eventually writing fantasy. This heavily influenced my decision to pursue UX/UI after graduation.

I have built up experience on several large projects at companies such as Hearts FC, Atos, NUMA Oxygen, and more, consistently working through the entire design lifecycle and beyond.

As an author in my spare time, I have also found a unique understanding of UX. In both instances, you are crafting a story, a journey for your users to go on. Whilst you are in control of the story and its execution, the ultimate goal is for the final product to be enjoyed by the reader, through both the delivery and content. And there is always more than one way to guide the user through their journey.
